This is done through the following means:
Outpatient
Comprehensive Evaluations: are extensive multi-system work-ups that explore the depth and breadth of family, social, and medical issues in relation to the patient's primary complaint. These are generally scheduled at the beginning of each half-day to avoid unnecessary interruptions. Ongoing follow-up: is usually at three-month intervals for diabetic patients and for those receiving growth hormone replacement. Otherwise, follow-up is generally at six-month intervals. Once patients reach college age and attend school out-of-town, visits are made to coincide with trips home. All of the above services are likely to require referral from your primary care provider.
